The USDA offers the BioPreferred® Program to increase the purchase and use of biobased products. An increased use of biobased products reduces our nation’s reliance on petroleum, increases the use of renewable agricultural resources, and contributes to reducing adverse environmental and health impacts. Through the program, products like adjuvants can be labeled to make it easy for consumers to identify biobased products. While participation in the program is voluntary, it illustrates a company’s dedication to sustainability and economic development.
To qualify as USDA Certified Biobased, adjuvants must contain at least 50% biobased carbon, verified by testing in an independent lab. Products certified under USDA’s requirements are manufactured from renewable or reclaimed plant materials such as soy, sugarcane, algae, forestry, and other agricultural sources. Regardless of industry, USDA Certified Biobased products provide a greener choice, decrease greenhouse gas emissions and support renewable, domestic energy sources.

COMPLETION easy-to-use water conditioner that combats hard water, lowers the tank mix’s pH, and increases the efficacy of actives. COMPLETION contains AMS to enhance the uptake of herbicides into the weed and minimizes antagonistic interactions between complex water ions.
MOTION ensures pesticide sprays penetrate the target plant’s surfaces. Because of its oily nature, MOTION is absorbed into the waxy cuticle, carrying active ingredient along allowing it to reach the targeted mode of action site more effectively. MOTION is especially effective during hot, dry conditions on later season post emergent weed populations.
